Fort Augustus

From the left
Fokka ( did I get that right?), Linda, Miranda and Bertie.

Our Dutch friends. We first met them in the Seaport Marina in Inverness. We then accompanied each other for the rest of the day, more or less.
We arrived in Fort Augustus which is in the southwesterly end of the lake. After a short walk we ended up at the same pub as the Dutch crew. Here we had a great evening.

The evening was fulfilled with a night-cap on the Dutch boat. I really tried to pronounciate what we were having, but I totally failed, and it was not due to the earlier consumption! So we took a picture of the bottle instead. What it tasted like - well I don´t really know how to describe it. I think it has to be experienced.
Janne has the spelling - Bravo Echo Romeo Echo November Bravo Uniform Romeo Golf!

Oh, how we hope for Holland to win the World Cup on Sunday. Go Orange!

Hello Janne and Lisa!.. How are you? We are back in the Netherlands. After Fort Augustus we sailed to Tobermory where we watch the final of the world cup, to bad we lost :(... Then our journey continous to Loch Nevis, to the most remote pub of Britain, The Old Forge, only to reach with our dinghy.... The next the we sail to Stornoway, on our trip we viewed a lot of sea life, dolphins, but also a shark.... After Stornoway we sailed to Stromness, the Orkneys...Yes we did it, we rounded Cape Wrath, it was a nice experience to see the cape from the sea in your sailboat. We stayed for 2 days on the Island, and rent a car. Time flies when your having fun, so we sailed home. The other reason was, that we have no more BERENBURG :)...
