Måndagen bjöd på fin segling. Vi lämnade Skiathos och seglade först till Skopelos. Där ankrade vi utanför Milia beach. En jättefin strand som också är med i Mamma Mia. Dock oklart för mig på vilket vis. Vi badade och åt lunch och badade igen. Sedan fortsatte vi. Slutmålet var Steni Vala som ligger mitt på Alonissos östra sida. Det är en charmerande liten hamn som vi varit till tidigare. Väl där var det knökfullt. Vi fick helt enkelt inte plats. Det slutade med att vi ankrade i viken precis söder om. Det var två andra båtar där varav en visade det sig ha fel på motorn och hade ankrat i all hast. Detta innebar att vi vaknade på natten av att våra båtar nästan slog ihop. Hans ankare hade släppt. Nåväl det löste sig.
Innan dess hade vi jollat iland och promenerat över till Steni Vala där vi åt middag.
Monday offered good sailing conditions. We left Skiathos and headed for Skopelos. We anchored off the Milia beach. A beautiful place. Supposedly a scene in Mamma mia- the movie, although I don't know in what way. We took a swim, had lunch and took a swim again.
Then we continued. Our destination was Steni Vala, half way up the east coast of Alonissos. It is a charming place that we have visited before. Well it was full. Of boats. No room for us. We ended up anchoring in the bay just south of Steni Vala. There were 2 other boats there. One of them had engine problems and had anchored in a hurry. This ment that we woke up in the middle of the night when the 2 boats were bumping in to each other. The other boats anchor had let go. Well, we sorted it out.
Before that we had taken the dingie ashore and the short walk to Steni Vala where we had a delicious dinner.
